Ollie is a resource curation service where users often post links and references to other sites. These links pull data provided by the respective sites to generate previews on Ollie. As such, before submitting a DMCA notice, it’s important to consider if the manner in which the material is used falls under fair use.

We take the intellectual property rights of others seriously. Per the DMCA, Ollie will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement on the Site if submitted to Ollie's Copyright Agent as described below.

If you believe that your intellectual property rights have been violated by Ollie or by a third party who has uploaded materials to our website, please provide the information fulfilling the following requirements to our Designated Copyright Agent (dmca@ollie.fyi):

DMCA Notice Requirements

A description of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property that you claim has been infringed;
A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the Site;
An address, telephone number, and email address where we can contact you and, if different, an email address where the alleged infringing party, if not Ollie, can contact you;
The following statement: “I have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material I am complaining of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law (e.g., as a fair use)”
The following statement: “The information in this notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, I am the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of the copyright or of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed”; and
Your electronic or physical signature.
Ollie may request additional information before removing any allegedly infringing material. In the event Ollie removes the allegedly infringing materials, Ollie will immediately notify the person responsible for posting such materials that Ollie removed or disabled access to the materials. Ollie may also provide the responsible person with your email address so that the person may respond to your allegations.

Upon receipt of a notice alleging copyright infringement, Ollie will take whatever action it deems appropriate within its sole discretion, including removal of the allegedly infringing materials and termination of access for repeat infringers of copyright-protected content.

DMCA Counter-Notice Requirements

If you believe you are the wrongful subject of a DMCA notice, you may file a counter-notice within ten (10) business days of the date of our notice. A Counter-Notice is a legal document and must comply with the following requirements:**

Your name, title (if acting as an agent), physical address, email address, and phone number;
A description of the material that has been removed or otherwise restricted;
The following statement: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that I have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled";
If based in the United States: "I consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which my provided address is located";
If based outside of the United States: "I will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification or an agent of such person"; and
Your electronic or physical signature.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-complaint, we will send a copy of the notice to the copyright order.
